www.ManjulasKitchen.com … Ras Malai Indian Desert Manjula Kitchen Cusine Video Sweets Vegetarian Recipe Food
Hi Manjula! Only your recipe seems to work for ras malai as I have tried various others but they have all been a disaster. So thanks a lot for your recipe. The only thing is my ras gullas are not as plump as yours, once i take them out of cooker they are very thin (like a papadi), what am I doing wrong? I would very much appreciate your reply. Thanks again.
very nice
thank u so much, i did make rasmalai from milkpowder, they become also very good, but som times they didn’t get cocket indside so i was always very confused, but now i am gonna make these deleciuse rasmalai, thank u a million times…i love tha way u coocks… than u again..
Aunty you are great! thanks a million times for your videos. I just found them yesterday in youtube and I made Ras Malai today as first from your recipes. The next will be gulabe Jamon
Though balls of my panir didnt get large enough but my ras malai still tastes great. I guess i didn’t press enough water out of panir after the milk was brocken. Please keep on posting your great videos. Thanks thanks!

Dear Manjula,

Thank you sooo much. I made rasgulla and will make rasmalai soon.
Hi Manjula. Thank you for the recipe. It was very delicious, but I don not have a pressure cooker and so had to make do with a regular pan. As a result the texture of the paneer came out a little rubbery. How long and at what temperature would you recommend boiling it in a pan? Thank you!
mauboka, I once didn’t add enough sugar, as I don’t like mine too sweet. I added a tad bit sf sweetener to the milk sauce afterwards, and it was just fine. The problem is that you will need to use real sugar for boiling the rasgullas, otherwise, they will break apart when cooking them in the pressure cooker. I would recommend making them as instructed, but you can add sf sweetener to the milk sauce.
has anybody tried adding sugar free sweeteners for diabetic patients? was it good?
Hi manjula ji… can we add condensed milk while boiling the milk to make it thicken faster? we wont need to add sugar then… I used to make rabri like this… i am not sure if we can do the same here too…
I have added rose water to mine the first time, but I found the flavor competes with the cardamom and saffron. I now only add rose water flavoring to the sugar water when I make the rasgullas.
I have always wanted to make this at home. This is my favorite dessert! Do some people add rose water in the Ras Malai?
I tried this recipe twice now. It turned out fantastic =)
I once went into a sweet shop whilst visiting new delhi and ate theeir entire stock of ras malai
yes you can add the cardamom at the same time with sugar.
I do mention in begaining to see the recipe for rasgulls.
Hi has anyone tried this recipe with canned rasgollas. If yes please let me know how it turned out ?
