Wearever Admiration Hard-Anodized 10-Inch Saute Pan
This wearever pan is recommended by Cook’s Illustrated — they believe we should buy inexpensive non-stick pans, because the expensive ones lose their non-stick quality just as fast. I agree with them. The surface on this pan is excellent, and lasts a good long time if you treat it right — using non-metal utensils and not stacking metal items inside it. It’s especially good for cooking eggs. On the down side, the pan is thin and has definite hot spots. But for the price, it’s a good buy. I’m marking it as 3 stars because you can buy heavier non-stick pans that are also inexpensive.
