Decent pan I suppose for the money. If you can live without this size, you can do much better price-wise on a set. This pan looks nice, cooks nice, cleans up nice. But as the previous poster states, it’s made in China, and you can tell the difference. The older version of this pan had a solid bottom which must have been 1/2″ thick. That was a serious, quality piece of cookware!

the “sale price” of seventy nine beans is pure bunk. so is the list of one fifty! go to cuisinart site and you will see the list on this is seventy nine! one cant even find anyone selling it for one fifty. it is seventy nine everywhere!
BE very careful about these sale prices on cookware, cutlery etc. amazon is apparently picking up macy’s fake list prices nowadays. check the makers’ sites to learn if the state list price is correct. inflating list prices by 50% and then stating fifty percent off is really not cool.
it is a good pan. price description is PURE BUNK.

I am very happy with the Multiclad Pro cookware in general. This is a heavy pan (to be expected due to its size) but if you need a large saute pan this is a great size – nice and deep. The rolled edge makes pouring very neat (it just takes 2 hands for me until most of the extra weight is removed – thank God for the helper handle, a wonderful feature). It heats quickly and cleans easily but, as mentioned in other reviews, it does discolor on the bottoms – interior turns blueish, exterior turns brownish from the application of heat (this is not an issue for me as I was looking for cooking ability not asthetics.)
One big beef I have is that the bottom is NOT flat and it wobbles on my glass top range. I have no doubt that this effects the even-ness of the cooking. We are planning a move and I am switching to a gas range otherwise I would have returned it and tried another one. (not a different brand)
I am an advid, experienced cook making most foods from scratch and I would recommend this product just be aware of some of it’s limitations.
I do highly recommend the Multiclad Pro line – it is a great product at a great price especially when compared to other “professional” quality cookware.

This is high-quality fully-clad professional stainless cookware at a fraction of the cost of All-Clad. The lightly brushed exterior is beautiful, and the pans have a great feel to them – solid, but not too heavy. I especially like the no-drip pouring rims and the feel of the handles. I’d recommend this line to anyone looking for high-end stainless, but does not want to spend top dollar just for a name.
